Return Policy
Package and return any regularly stocked merchandise to us within thirty (30) days for a full refund, credit, or exchange. All sale, clearance, and special order items may not be returned for any reason other than being defective. If you use the item, you own it. If the item shows any sign of wear, it will not be accepted for return. Please call (916) 722-1055 if you have any questions, thank you.
Rod & Reel Returns: Rods can be cast on lawns or in a dry environment so you can test the action. We are unable to accept any returns if the original packaging is removed or the rod has any damage, watermarks, or has a dirty grip. Used reels will not be accepted for return.
Waders & Boots: Please try on waders and boots inside a clean house to ensure a proper fit before using them. Used boots and waders will absolutely not be approved for return, exchange, or credit and will be promptly shipped back to you.
Fly Lines: If the line has been removed from its original spool at all or spooled onto a reel it cannot be returned.
Flies: Wet or damaged flies that appear to be used will not be accepted for return.
Fly Tying Materials: Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for fly tying materials. Please call the shop at (916) 722-1055 if you have any questions.
*Unopened packages will be inspected by our staff upon receipt. Your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 days. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.
Products purchased with gift cards or with gift receipts can be returned for store credit only.
Please note that we are stringent about enforcing the "as-new" policy. This is for your protection as well as ours. If the purchased merchandise is not returned in the new/mint condition you received it, it will be shipped back immediately to the sender and the appropriate shipping charges will be debited from the credit card used for the original purchase.

2) Wrap the product in the original packaging, with tags and the original receipt
3) Close the box securely, we are not responsible for product lost during shipping

Products normally take 7-10 days to come back to us. The returned product will be inspected and, provided the product passes inspection, your merchandise credit will be applied within seven days.
